IMVIA founder's awards

Founders’ recognition awards have been presented in Christchurch by the Imported Motor Vehicle Industry Association (IMVIA) to three people who were unable to attend its silver anniversary gala dinner. Graeme McVicar, Donna Silvester and Martin Todd were honoured at the event in Auckland and received their awards at the IMVIA’s board meeting in the Garden City on November 25. The awards were presented by Graeme Macdonald and Lloyd Wilson, chairman of the association’s North and South Island branches respectively. The ceremony was also attended by Ron Silvester, Donna’s father and dealership founder. The people who received their awards in Auckland were Rod Milner, PJ Johnston, Phil Pacey, Dick Gray, Alistair Sheard, Neil Cottle and Fred Lewis.
